Our student, Chow Man Sui, Dipper from Class 3D, joined the Interschool Toastmasters Competition organized by S.K.H Tsang Shiu Tim Secondary School on 4 July 2026. He delivered a prepared speech on the value of experiential learning.

We are pleased to announce that Tse Hiu Tung from Class 2A participated in the Student Showcase Pilot Scheme - “Speak Your Mind!”, organised by the English Language Education Section of the Curriculum Development Institute (CDI), Education Bureau (EDB).

She received the Notable Content Creator Award in recognition of her outstanding video submission.

On 2nd July 2026, students participated in the “3rd Po Leung Kuk Lee Shing Pik Joint-School Drone Obstacle Competition” organised by PLK Lee Shing Pik College. The following students won the Championship in the Drone Programming Obstacle Race and the 5th Place in the Drone Speed Racing. Congratulations!

On May 7, 2026, the Hong Kong Award for Young People (AYP) Silver Award Presentation Ceremony was successfully held at Pui Ching Middle School. We are incredibly proud to announce that 27 of our students were awarded the Silver Award this year.

This achievement not only sets a new milestone in our school’s history but also distinguishes our school as the top-performing unit with the highest number of awardees among all participating schools in Hong Kong this year.

🏆 International Recognition & Holistic Development

The AYP is a prestigious, internationally recognised youth development program. To earn the Silver Award, students must demonstrate exceptional self-discipline and persistence over a long period. They are required to complete four core sections:

Service; Skills; Physical Recreation and; Adventurous Journey

🥾 Grit, Perseverance, and Teamwork

Of the four pillars, the "Adventurous Journey" proved to be the most rigorous test. Students were required to carry heavy gear, navigate challenging terrains, and camp outdoors while facing unpredictable weather.

This journey was more than just a test of physical stamina; it was a lesson in teamwork. By supporting one another and solving problems collectively, our students proved that their greatest strength lies in their unity and refusal to give up.

✨ A Moment of Honour

At the ceremony, our students received their Silver Award certificates from the Guest of Honour, Mr. Chan Kwok-ki, GBS, IDSM, JP, Chief Secretary for Administration. This recognition is a well-deserved tribute to their hard work and dedication over the past year.

Congratulations to our students on achieving outstanding results in the Biliteracy & Trilingualism Challenge - The 8th Greater Bay Area cum New Territories West Competition.

The prize presentation ceremony was held at Chung Sing Benevolent Society Mrs. Aw Boon Haw Secondary School on 28 March 2026.

This competition was jointly organised by the Rotary Club of City Northwest Hong Kong, the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of Hong Kong Baptist University, and Chung Sing Benevolent Society Mrs. Aw Boon Haw Secondary School. The event aims to encourage junior secondary students to practise writing and public speaking as a means to develop proficiency in presentation and communication skills in both languages, preparing the students for future challenges.

5A CHIU TIN YAN ALEXANDRA, PAU PUI CHING and YIU LOK TUNG participated in the ‘Digital Financial Literacy Programme for Youth 2025/26 – Financial Education Podcast Competition’ and won the 1st Runner-up (Senior Category).

The theme of their podcast is ‘Investing in the Digital Era’. Their work will be used as learning resources to promote the importance of digital financial literacy to the public.

In addition, they served as financial education ambassadors, organising campus events to promote digital financial knowledge during Financial Education Week.
