English Debating Workshop

On 28th February, junior form (S1-S2) classes attended an introduction to debating workshop in the school hall conducted by Mr Dunlea. First, students guessed the meaning of keywords such as "motion" and "adjudicator". Next, they watched a demo debate video. Finally, they were put into groups and had some practice debating whether "computers should replace teachers". To round up, students were invited to share their opinions for or against the motion publicly to win a snack.
