Parent Volunteers Experience Sharing Workshop

The Parent Volunteers Experience Sharing Workshop was successfully held, with a total of 50 parents in attendance. The event began with Ms Chung Hou Jen introducing the role of parent volunteers in assisting the school with volunteer activities, such as leading students in visits to elderly residents who live alone. Mr. Shek Kong, the chairperson of the PTA, introduced the regular work of parent volunteers and the year plan of volunteer activities.
Two experienced parent volunteers shared their insights, helping participants understand how, as parent volunteers, they can witness their children's growth and what they can gain from the experience. Another experienced volunteer also taught parents how to twist balloons. All of them were very engaged and enjoyed the fun.
Finally, a tea gathering allowed new and returning parents to get to know one another, deepening their understanding of volunteer service and effectively encouraging parents to actively participate in school volunteer activities.
