Ho Fung Parent-teacher Association Annual General Meeting

A total of 250 parents and teachers participated in the meeting. In addition to general affairs and financial reporting, Principal Siu was invited to give a speech on DSE, sharing his personal observations about the New Senior Secondary Diploma of Education. S1 to S3 parents and class teachers met and discussed after the the principal, arrangements related to choosing elective subjects of S4 was introduced to S3 students.

|
The 2011-2012 Sik Sik Yuen Joint School Prize Presentation ceremony was held at the School Hall of Ho Dao College and officiated by Mr Eddie Ng Hak-kim, SBS, JP, Secretary for Education. Mr Ng also presented awards and gave a speech.

|
There were more than 400 parents participating in the event. In addition to distribution of report cards, the Principal shared with the parents the admission arrangement of universities.

Two sessions were held in the morning of the event day. There were about 900 participants in total, who were members of Tsuen Wan District Parent Teacher Association Federation and students as well as parents and students of Kwai Tsing.

|
There were 24 booths, including booths of Ho Fung and Ho Shun Parent-Teacher Association. Teachers and students participated actively in the activities and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. Half income from each booth would be donated to charities.

|
Report cards were delivered that day. Parents could better understand the performance of their children at school while talking to class teachers. They could also talk to school social worker or teachers from Discipline Team and Counseling Team by appointment. In addition, a rank list exhibition of different forms and different subjects will be displayed at school hall.

21 students from S3 to S5 joined the two-week study tour co-organised with Canada University of Alberta. Held post examination, the tour aimed to provide chance for students to experience study life in overseas university, to explore the scope of scientific learning areas, to enhance students’ English standards, and to broaden horizons.
