Sik Sik Yuen 100th Anniversary Logo and Slogan Contest

The prize presentation ceremony was held at Fung Ming Hall, Wong Tai Sin Temple, Sik Sik Yuen on 11 January 2020.
Our students achieved good results in the Slogan Contest (Student Section). Tang Wai Kei (6D) won the Second Runner-up, and was awarded a certificate and a cash prize of HK$2,000. Ho Cheuk Lam (6D) and Chan Ka Yan (4B) won the complimentary prizes, and each of them was awarded a certificate and a cash prize of HK$500.

Classes were suspended due to Covid-19

On 25 January 2020, the government announced the postponement of class resumption for all secondary schools.
During the period of class suspension between February and May 2020, the school developed a 7-stage learning scheme. It facilitated students' self-study with the help of the videos produced by subject teachers and Zoom live lessons.

Classes were resumed in phases

On 5 May 2020, the government announced that all secondary schools would resume face-to-face lessons on a half-day basis in phases.
Classes of Secondary 3 to 5 resumed on 27 May 2020, while those of Secondary 1 and 2 on 8 June 2020.
The school's teachers adjusted the teaching progress and exam arrangements according to the students’ learning progress and needs.

22 Release of the Ninth HKDSE results
Among the 114 students sitting the ninth HKDSE, there were 114 students (93.4%) getting '33222' in core subjects.
The results of the students are as follows:

13 Announcement of JUPAS results

There were 120 students joining JUPAS, and 114 of them received offers. Among them, 109 students were admitted to Bachelor’s degree programmes.
