On 4 March 2026, all S3 students attended the English drama Taming the Dragon, performed by The Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connection (AFTEC) at the Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre Theatre.
As the spectacular final instalment of the Trilogy of Zhuge Liang, the production brought to life the legendary rivalry between Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi from the classic Romance of the Three Kingdoms. This performance offered students a valuable opportunity to experience English in an authentic, creative, and culturally rich environment beyond the school setting.
Before attending the show, students participated in an engaging pre-show workshop conducted by AFTEC. The workshop introduced key characters, themes, and performance elements, equipping students with the background knowledge needed to fully enjoy and understand the drama. This preparatory experience enriched their learning and enhanced the impact of the live performance.
