On 12 November, students from Secondary 2 and Secondary 3 attended an informative and thought provoking talk delivered by Ms. Dana Winograd, Executive Director and Co Founder of Plastic Free Seas, a registered charitable organisation in Hong Kong.
The session focused on the pressing issue of plastic waste and highlighted the importance of recycling and reducing the use of single use plastics. Through clear examples and practical advice, Ms. Winograd encouraged students to reflect on their daily habits and consider how small changes could contribute to a more sustainable future.
The presentation greatly benefited our students, deepening their understanding of global environmental challenges and inspiring them to take proactive steps toward protecting our oceans and communities.
